I've joined dozens of membership websites over the past year. The value and the quality of these websites has varied greatly, as many of you can probably relate. To give you an idea of the range of experiences that I've had, I'll tell you that a few of the websites were so disappointing that I actually requested a refund. On a more positive note, I found several of these websites worth remaining a member beyond the typical trial membership. Although, I rarely remained a member for more than a couple of months. Most of the websites contained the basics - galleries, stories, &, video clips. For the most part, all of the content on these websites could be viewed within a day (usually in hours or less) and the content updates were just not enough to justify extending the membership. Some of the websites offered some extended features such as message boards, chat rooms, and/or webcams, which make them more alluring and keep the content "fresh", but I would ultimately become bored and decide to move.
Now, those were my past experiences, some of which were great, but it is my most recent experience with a website that I would like to inform you about and the website is Isabella Sinclaire's The Ivy Manor. I must admit that I was skeptical about the features that were being advertised, I was especially curious about the Video On-Demand feature. So when I joined, that was the first page that I visited. Describing this feature as impressive is clearly an understatement! My first glimpse was amazing, the crisp video and audio streamed flawlessly on my cable connection. It was literally like watching a video on my PC. What's more, the setup allows you to jump to anywhere in the video -- Something that I can't do on my VCR or DVD! I ended up watching three selections that first night. That's right, I spent nearly 5 hours watching the beautiful Mistress Isabella torture and tease her slaves. At the time of this review (8/27/01), there were 31 full-length Video On-Demand selections available and new ones are added at least weekly. Each Video On-Demand contains a complete description, which by the way is available in the guests area -- so you'll know exactly which ones contain your favorite activities.
If I were to stop this review here, I'm confident that VOD is more than worth the membership cost. Of course, the VOD is not the only feature of Mistress Isabella's website. Members can interact with her live during her on-line performances. Basically, this is the lovely Goddess torturing a slave live via the same type of streaming video & audio feed as the Video On-Demand with the addition of a chatroom to interact with her. In fact, the Video On-Demand selections are archives from the livefeed. I can't stress enough that this is a streaming video and audio setup, not like the webcams that were available on many of the other websites from my past journeys. The streaming setup is an order of magnitude better - it's like you're a fly on the wall in the dungeon. To get an idea of the range of activities that you may see on a livefeed, the last 3 weeks have featured several severe canings, including on round of 1200 strokes, bullwhippings, a dog training session, smothering, intricate rope bondage, foot/boot worship, heavy cbt, and much more. I have to say that the thing that firmly secured me in Mistress Isabella's web was when she noticed that I was new to the website and specifically asked me what I was "into" and what would I like to see her do to her slave. I think it's just awesome that she takes the time to chat with her members! Oh yeah, she fulfilled my request the very next week. And if that were not enough, in the absence of Mistress Isabella's livefeeds, you also have access to a 24/7 webcam & chatroom dungeon feed, while Mistress Isabella isn't featured in this dungeon, I've chatted with some very attractive females in this room.
All in all there are over a thousand photos, 270+ video clips, and 25+ stories/interviews (they indicate over 4.0Gig worth of content). There are enough regular updates to keep the website interesting, usually a couple of photo galleries, 10 video clips, and at least one VOD selection every week. Heck just watching the new VOD selection keeps me glued to my PC for longer that I remember spending at any other website! I must extend my compliments to Mistress Isabella for providing such a quality website and to her staff, which does an excellent job keeping the website up and running (I've never experienced any technical difficulties).
You get access to all of this for a one week trial membership of $7.95. Of course with over 50 hours of Video On-Demand selections, you'll have to work overtime to view all this content in one week! The monthly rate is $24.95 and there are a couple other of options available. In my opinion, the Ivy Manor is clearly the best value on the internet - it's simply unmatched.
